Evaluation of Medical Instrumentation
This course addresses to the students who attend the Postgraduate program of “Biomedical Engineering”. This course is co-organised by the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, the School of Mechanical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and the School of Medicine of the University of Patras.
The course includes the following topics:
- Operation,applications, principles of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices used in hospitals
- Intrinsic hazards
- Economical factors
- Methods for medical systems evaluation based on multifactorial analysis
